Saudi Pro League: Sadio Mane joins forces with Ronaldo as Al Nassr down Al Ittihad

Al Nassr are the leaders of the Saudi Pro League after Sadio Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo scored in a 2-0 victory over reigning champions Al Ittihad on Friday.

The Senegalese legend opened the scoring inside the first ten minutes when he lashed in a volley from Kingsley Coman’s cross. Nassr declared their firm intentions to challenge for the 2025-26 title with the decisive victory at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.

Mane was not done. The Al Nassr #10 then set up Ronaldo for the second goal, producing some nifty dribbling moves on the left wing before curling a perfect cross for the Portugal national team all-time leading scorer to head in.

Nassr have a perfect record through four matches with an outstanding record of fourteen goals and only one goal conceded. They return to action on Wednesday when they travel to face Iraqi club Al Zawraa in the AFC Champions League 2.
