Zambian targetman Fashion Sakala has shared his reaction after scoring and providing an assist for Al Fayha FC in Friday’s 2-0 victory over Al Okhdood in Saudi Arabia.
The Chipolopolo forward created the opener for Silvere Ganvoula before adding his name on the scoresheet with the second goal from a diving header at the far end following a low delivery from the right. The result ended Al Fayha’s three-match winless run in the Saudi Pro League.

In a reaction to his second goal of the Saudi Pro League this season, Sakala gave credit to the coaching panel and team mates, for the hard work that translated to the victory.
“The coach has assembled a very good team,” he told Saudi Pro League television.
“The hard work can be seen in training. We are doing so well. I think there is hard work and I am so happy obviously. The focus for us is for the team and for the three points. This was the goal from the first minute. I am so happy with the performance of the team.”
The Zambian, who recently rejoined Chipolopolo after being sidelined by former coach Avram Grant, also took to his Facebook page to celebrate the victory.
“Great performance from the team and hard fought victory. One goal and one assist. Man-of-the-Match. Thank you so much for your support and I really appreciate it,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Sakala’s team lies in ninth place in the log table, 10 points behind leaders Al Nassr whose stars include Sadio Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo. Al Okhdood are second from the basement of the 18-member log table.
Al Fayha FC’s next assignment in the league will be against Al Ettifaq on November 22 after the two-week November FIFA window.
