Gagganga makes the switch from bitter rivals Express FC, where he spent only one season. Despite netting just two goals in his debut top flight campaign, he earned recognition for his creativity and attacking flair, often thriving in the advanced midfield role just behind the striker.

His rise has been swift, starting out in the Kampala Regional League with CATDA FC before making a mark in the Masaza Cup with Buddu and the University Football League with Uganda Christian University (UCU). That journey paved the way for his senior breakthrough at Express, and now his big move to Villa Park.
At SC Villa, Gagganga becomes the latest in a string of new arrivals, joining Ibrahim Kasinde, Ali Bayo, and David Lukwago, as the club undergoes a major rebuild. The Jogoos will also have new coach Zeljko Kovacevic in charge, tasked with blending fresh signings and existing talent into a competitive unit.
On the other hand, the record league champions have seen departures, with Ronald Ssekiganda moving to Rwanda’s APR FC and Meddie Kibirige sealing a transfer to Kitara FC.
With these squad changes, SC Villa are clearly setting their sights high, aiming to launch a strong push for silverware in the upcoming season.
