Following the official announcement of his contract extension with CR Belouizdad until 2028, head coach Sead Ramovic has delivered an ambitious message to the club’s supporters, board, and players.

The German tactician, who took charge of the Algerian giants in February and has already led them to a domestic cup final and secured the third place in the league, emphasized his commitment to succeeding with the club.

In his first public comments since the extension, Ramovic said:

"First, I want to thank the club’s leadership, the board, and our incredible supporters for the trust they’ve shown in us. Signing a new three-year contract with CR Belouizdad is a huge honour. This club has history, ambition, and heart — and we are proud to continue building something special here. This club belongs at the top of Algerian football."

He added: "That’s not pressure — that’s the standard. CRB is too big not to fight for the title every single season. But beyond that, we must play an important role in the CAF Champions League. We must be competitive, respected, and feared in Africa."

Ramovic continued: "We are building a clear football identity: a high-intensity, attacking, possession-based style of play — one that reflects bravery, determination, and control."

He further noted: "I demand intensity, discipline, and tactical intelligence from my players — but I also give them the freedom to grow and express themselves. The team I lead will always be hard-working, united, and courageous."

The German added: "We hear the fans. We see them. We feel their love for this club every single day. We want you to know that we are here to give everything — not just to win matches, but to make you proud of how we play, how we fight, and how we represent this great club."

Ramovic concluded: "The trust I’ve received from the board, the staff, and the players means everything to us — but now it’s time to repay it with results, performances, and moments that will be remembered. We are fully committed to making this next chapter the most successful one yet."

Ramovic previously coached Young Africans in Tanzania and TS Galaxy in South Africa, so he is not strange to the African atmosphere.
