Second choice goalkeeper Zalli Abdullahi leaves Enyimba

Second choice goalkeeper nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Enyimba, Zalli Abdullahi has officially parted ways with the People’s Elephant.

The 22-year-old shot stopper’s contract expired at the end of the 2024-25 NPFL season.

Abdullahi made 17 appearances for Enyimba in the 2024/25 campaign where they finished in 6th position.

He was Enyimba’s second choice goalkeeper last season and now with his departure the young goalkeeper is expected to decide on his next move before the start of a new season.

Abdullahi joined Enyimba on August 19, 2024 after playing for Doma United in the NPFL during the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
