Tunisian striker Seifeddine Jaziri delivered the winning goal for Zamalek in their 1–0 victory over Zambia’s Zesco United, as the White Knights opened their CAF Confederation Cup group-stage campaign with an important home win.
Jaziri broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute, converting a precise right-footed strike that the Zesco goalkeeper couldn’t save.
The goal carried historic significance for the Tunisian forward. Jaziri has now reached 48 goals for Zamalek across all competitions since joining the club from Arab Contractors, surpassing former Yemeni star Ali Mohsen, who had scored 47 goals for the Cairo giants.
With this milestone, Jaziri officially becomes Zamalek’s all-time leading foreign goalscorer, cementing his name in the club’s history books.
