Sekhukhune United unveil veteran striker Bradley Grobler

Sekhukhune United have officially announced the signing of prolific striker Bradley Grobler ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.

The 37-year-old joins the Limpopo-based side from SuperSport United, a move that occurred just over a week before SuperSport’s top-flight status was sold to Siwelele FC.

Grobler, one of the most consistent goal-scorers in PSL history, spent over ten seasons with SuperSport, etching his name in the club’s record books. He departs as the Spartans’ all-time leading scorer, having netted 91 goals and provided 29 assists in 293 appearances across all competitions.

His successful tenure at SuperSport also saw him lift a handful of domestic trophies, including two Nedbank Cup titles and the 2020/21 Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award.

“Sekhukhune United confirms the signing of Bradley Grobler from SuperSport United. The forward arrives with years of top-flight experience and a proven eye for goals. Welcome to Babina Noko,” the club stated on social media, confirming the major coup on Thursday.

Grobler’s arrival marks him as the second striker to join Sekhukhune in the current transfer window. He follows the signing of Sphiwe Mahlangu from TS Galaxy, who impressed Sekhukhune management with his scoring ability.

These new additions will strengthen Sekhukhune’s existing attacking force, which already includes Wonderboy Makhubu, Andy Boyeli, Chibuike Ohizu, and Samkele Sihlali.

With head coach Eric Tinkler, also a former SuperSport coach, now at the helm, Sekhukhune United are signalling their intent to build a competitive squad. They will be looking to improve on their fourth-place league finish last season, which saw them narrowly miss out on CAF Confederation Cup qualification.
