Seri set for Al-Orobah comeback after months out of action

Jean Michaël Seri has returned to full training with Saudi Pro League side Al Orubah after a long injury layoff. The Ivorian midfielder had been out for months after sustaining an injury in October 2024.

The former Nice midfielder joined Al Orubah at the start of the season following a stint with English side Hull City. He only made five league appearances before the injury sidelined him. His last competitive game was in qualifying for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations when he was subbed off just before halftime as Ivory Coast lost 0-1 to Sierra Leone.

Seri, 33, has completed his rehabilitation and joined the first team at the start of the week. The struggling Saudi Pro League side needs reinforcements for the remaining games, and Seri is expected to play against Al Khaleej this week.

Al Orubah is 16th with 30 points, three points from safety with only three games remaining.
