Italian Serie A club Atalanta BC have bolstered their squad with the capture of Ghana national team winger Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The 23-year-old joins last season’s UEFA Europa League winners from relegated Southampton FC on a long-term deal after successfully passing his medical.
Atalanta signed the Ghanaian forward in a deal worth €17.5 million, with an additional €4 million in performance-related add-ons.
Sulemana’s move to the Serie A marks a new chapter in his career having previously played for Danish club, FC Nordsjaelland and Stade Rennais in France. Since joining Southampton in January 2023 for a club-record fee, Sulemana made 34 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 5 goals with 2 assists.
The move offers the Right to Dream Academy graduate a chance to refuel his career in one of Europe’s top leagues.
