The former Medeama SC attacker joins the Msimbazi Reds from Singida Black Stars after an impressive campaign from the previous season. Sowah, 26, had joined Singida Black Stars from Libyan outfit Al Nasr midway last season, scoring an impressive 13 goals from 13 league matches as they booked a spot in next term’s CAF Confederation Cup.

They finished fourth in the league with 57 points from 30 matches. Meanwhile, Simba finished second on the league table with 78 points from 30 matches, four behind rivals Young Africans – securing a spot in next term’s CAF Champions League.
Sowah will bring a wealth of experience from playing with Ghana’s Medeama SC, a side he helped win the Premier League before a stint at Libya club Al Nasr.
Sowah made his senior Ghana debut in 2023, going on to clock three appearances.
