Banza, who arrived on a permanent transfer from Portuguese side Braga at the end of September, made the difference in the 20th minute when he received a pass from Abdalla Ramadan and fired past Bataeh goalkeeper Abdulrahman Al Ameri for the only goal of the match.
The goal stood as the winner, giving Banza MOTM honors after the final whistle signaled a third consecutive victory for Al Jazira. The Abu Dhabi club moves into fifth place on the UAE Pro League table with the result.
A two-week break will follow for Banza and his club before they resume action in the UAE League Cup on November 16.
