Uganda U-20 national team defender Simon Mukisa has parted ways with Uganda Premier League record champions SC Villa, bringing an end to his two-and-a-half-year stay at the historic club, Pan-African Football has reliably learned.
Mukisa leaves the Jogoos having gained valuable top-flight experience, contributing to the club’s domestic campaigns during his spell.
His departure marks the end of an important chapter in his young but steadily progressing career.
At international level, Mukisa has been a consistent presence across Uganda’s youth national teams. He has previously featured for the Uganda Cubs (U17), the U18 side, and the U20 national team, Uganda Hippos, highlighting his long-term involvement in the country’s youth football setup.
The defender is a product of the KCCA FC Soccer Academy, widely regarded for producing some of Uganda’s most promising talents.
Before joining Villa, Mukisa also had a stint with UPDF FC, where he continued his development in the Uganda Premier League.
As Mukisa moves on, attention now turns to the next step in his career, with the versatile defender expected to attract interest thanks to his domestic experience and solid international youth pedigree.
