South African college salutes Orbit FC after earning promotion

South Africa's tertially institution, Orbit TVET College has congratulated its football team for securing Betway Premiership promotion.

The North West Province-based college released a congratulatory statement to Orbit College FC after they earned promotion to the top-flight league on Wednesday.

"Congratulations to Orbit College FC and coach Pogiso Makhoye on this historic promotion to the Premier Soccer League (PSL). Your unwavering passion for the game has made the institution and the North West Province immensely proud," the school's statement reads.

The students beat Cape Town City 1-0 at Olympia Stadium to seal the promotion from the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

The Mswenko Boys won the decisive game through Letsie Koapeng's strike which relegated the Citizens to the second tier league.

Orbit College earned their place in the playoffs after finishing in second place of the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
