Uganda U-17 men’s national football team (Cubs) head coach Brian Ssenyondo has unveiled a provisional squad of 37 players as preparations begin for the upcoming AFCON U-17 tournament.
The squad, comprising five goalkeepers, ten defenders, thirteen midfielders, and nine forwards, will enter residential training at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru starting Monday, February 24, 2025.
Uganda has been drawn in Group A alongside host nation Morocco, Zambia and East African rivals Tanzania. The AFCON U-17 finals will take place from March 30 to April 19, 2025, in Morocco.
