TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has pulled no punches regarding Kaizer Chiefs’ interest in Puso Dithejane, accusing the Soweto giants of attempting to bypass club protocols to land the 21-year-old star.
Despite intensifying rumors linking the midfielder with a return to Naturena, Sukazi confirmed on UKhozi FM that no formal offer has reached his desk. Instead, the Rockets’ boss painted a picture of a “backdoor” recruitment attempt that has left him unimpressed.
In a candid revelation, Sukazi claimed that high-ranking Chiefs officials—including sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jr, scout Tera Maliwa, and DDC coach Vela Khumalo—have been attempting to contact the player directly.
“There’s no Chiefs offer for Dithejane at the moment,” Sukazi stated. “I was with Dithejane on Sunday afternoon and he showed me his missed calls. It’s surprising. If they want to put an offer, we will talk with them, but these calls are going straight to the player, not me.”
The tension is compounded by Dithejane’s history with Amakhosi. The youngster famously departed the Chiefs academy under a cloud of controversy in 2023. Sukazi was quick to remind the public of the irony behind Chiefs’ sudden desperation to bring him back.
“You must remember how Dithejane left Kaizer Chiefs, where they told him to be a ball boy when he wanted to play,” Sukazi remarked, highlighting the player’s meteoric rise since moving to Mpumalanga.
It is no wonder the “Big Three” and overseas scouts are circling. Dithejane has been in scintillating form, proving to be one of the most clinical creative forces in the Betway Premiership this season.
He has found the back of the net four times and provided six assists, bringing his total tally to 10 goal involvements for the season so far. These statistics underscore why the TS Galaxy star has become one of the most sought-after creative talents in the league.
While Chiefs fans may be desperate for a creative spark, Sukazi’s message is clear: if the Glamour Boys want their former academy product back, they need to pick up the phone and call the chairman—not the player.
