Super Eagles star Onyemaechi ready for maiden UEFA Champions League

Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi has expressed anticipation of playing in his first UEFA Champions League next season with Olympiacos.
Onyemaechi made the switch to Olympiacos from Portuguese club Boavista in January. The left-back speaking with TVC News said he is looking forward to his maiden appearance in the UEFA Champions League.
“It’s a very big season because I’ll be playing in the Champions League for the first time. I’m looking forward to this, I hope I’m prepared for it and I hope I’m injury free also.”
The 26-year-old featured in nine league games, and provided one assist with Olympiacos claiming the title. He also made an appearance in the Greek Cup final victory over OFI Crete.
Onyemaechi now have the chance of playing in the lucrative UEFA Champions League for the first time in the 2025/26 season.
