The Super Falcons are reportedly set to compete in a prestigious four-nation invitational tournament during the next international window.

Strategic road to Morocco

This invitational serves as a vital preparation phase for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Originally scheduled for March, the tournament in Morocco has been officially rescheduled by CAF to take place from July 25 to August 16, 2026.

The stakes are exceptionally high, as the WAFCON also serves as the African qualifying route for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
