Paul Onuachu extended his impeccable scoring streak while Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen also scored as the two Nigerian strikers continued their reign of terror against Turkish Süper Lig defenses on Saturday.
Osimhen boosted his total to 12 goals in league play and 19 in all competitions by scoring in league leaders Gala’s 3-0 victory over İstanbul Başakşehir. Skillfully taking down a pass over the top from Yunus Akgün, the poacher did the rest with a little help from a deflection on his finish.
Guinea-Bissau national team starlet Renato Nhaga finished the scoring late on for his first Süper Lig goal, moving Gala seven points clear of rivals Fenerbahçe at the top of the table.
Meanwhile, over on the Black Sea coast, Onuachu remains unstoppable. The towering marksman made it 21 goals this season in the league by tallying the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Rizespor.
He has now scored in his last ten league matches and became the first member of his club to score in eight consecutive games. Including cup matches, Onuachu has twelve goals during his magical ten-game stretch.

His club remain seven points back of the league leaders in third place but are keeping the pressure on reigning champions Gala as well as Fenerbahçe, who dropped points on Friday with a 0-2 defeat at Fatih Karagümrük.
