SuperSport United are pursuing Mamelodi Sundowns winger Neo Maema to beef up their squad for the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season," Pan-Africa Football has been informed.
The Tshwane-based side has identified Maema as a top target as they look to improve from their poor showing in the previous campaign.
The talented attacker has struggled for regular playing time at Sundowns under the guidance of head coach Miguel Cardoso.
Maema has played most of his matches as a second-half substitute after making 17 appearances in all competitions with only one goal to his name last season.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic star has faced tough competition from players such as Lucas Ribeiro Costa, Kutlwano Lethlaku, Arthur Sales, Themba Zwane, and Tashreeq Mathews.
With the 29-year-old left one year on his contract with Masandawana, SuperSport have set their sight on the skilful winger to bolster the attacking options.
Meanwhile, Maema could be tempted to join a new team in search of regular playing time elsewhere and revive his career.
