Swiss club Servette to release Kasim Nuhu after contract expiration

Ghana defender Kasim Adams Nuhu will be released by Swiss club Servette FC at the end of his contract this month.

The centre-back made a return to the Swiss Super League last summer with Servette after the end of his spell with Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim.

The club took to their website to announce the departure of the 29-year-old and another African, Nigerian forward Victory Beniangba as well as Belgium youngster Joseph Nonge.

“Kasim Adams, Victory Beniangba, and Joseph Nonge will also be leaving Servette FC at the end of the season. At the end of their contracts or on loan, these players will be free at the end of June. The club thanks them for their season in the club and wishes them the best for the rest of their careers,” wrote the club on their official website.

The former Mallorca player previously played for FC Basel in Switzerland before a spell in Germany with Hoffenheim and Fortuna Dusseldorf. Adams will become a free agent from June 30, and can join the club of his choice in the transfer window.

He made 17 appearances for Servette FC, scoring a single goal in the 2024/25 season for the Super League runners-up but the technical team have decided against renewing his contract.
