The latest on the agreement between Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane and Al Ahly SC

Egypt’s Al Ahly SC is set to officially announce the signing of Tunisian international Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, who will join from Hungarian club Ferencváros TC.

According to local reports, Tunisian midfielder Ben Romdhane successfully passed his medical on Monday in anticipation of his official transfer to Al Ahly SC and the announcement of the deal. Al Ahly SC is expected to announce Ben Romdhane’s contract within the next 48 hours. The most likely announcement will come after the league match against FC Pharco on Wednesday.

Ben Romdhane’s signing will be Al Ahly SC’s third summer signing, following the signing of Mahmoud Hassan aka “Trezeguet” from Turkish club Trabzonspor and the loan of Hamdi Fathi from Qatari club Al Wakrah, who will participate with the team exclusively in the FIFA Club World Cup to be held in the United States.
