Libya outfit, Al Ittihad SC are on the verge of signing oTogo international Yaw Agbagno ahead of next season’s domestic and continental campaign.
The 25-year-old midfielder is set to join the club from Algeria outfit, ASO Chlef on a two-year deal. He was in blistering form last season for ASO Chlef where he became the Algerian league’s third top scorer with 10 goals in 27 league matches.
Agbagno, who is valued at €700,000 is expected to add bite in the attack of Al Ittihad as they prepare for the CAF Confederation Cup after finishing in fourth last season.
He is part of Togo’s squad that is engaged in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where Togo lie 4th in Group B on four points from seven matches.
He was an unused substitute when the Sparrow Hawks lost 2-0 at Mauritania in match day 7. He has played eight times for Togo with just one goal to his credit.
