The Democratic Republic of the Congo international Ernest Luzolo Nsita has completed his switch from TP Mazembe to Al-Hilal in Sudan.
The Lubumbashi-based team confirmed the departure of the defender, ending his four-year adventure with the Ravens.
“Tout Puissant Mazembe confirms that it has reached an agreement, through official correspondence, with the Sudanese club Al-Hilal for the transfer of its left-back Ernest Luzolo Nsita (28 years old),” the statement reads.
Mazembe explained that they allowed the Leopards’ defender to leave despite that he has a running contract with them, ending next season.
“Still under contract with the Ravens until June 2026 and currently on vacation in Kinshasa, the Congolese international has been exceptionally authorized to join [the] Sudan [team] in order to finalize the final terms of this transfer,” the statement adds.
“The club would like to thank Ernest Luzolo Nsita for his exemplary attitude throughout the discussions, as well as for his commitment and performances during these four seasons spent in the colours of the Ravens. Tout Puissant Mazembe sends him its most sincere wishes for success in the rest of his career and his new challenges within Al Hilal.”
Nsita featured in 105 matches for the Ravens having joined them in 2001.
