Paul Onuachu continued his magical run of goal scoring for Trabzonspor on Monday with two goals in a 3-1 victory at Kayserispor.
The towering striker has incredibly scored in every match with his club since returning from Nigeria duty at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. He has now found the net in nine consecutive games, scoring eleven times during this stretch.
Facing a hapless Kayserispor side that have only won once in the last three-and-a-half months, the visitors asserted themselves with their rewards arriving at the end of the first half. Cape Verde national team fullback Wagner Pina did well to create space on the right flank and his floated cross found the head of Onuachu for the opening goal.
Trabzonspor were not content with one goal at the end of the first half. After a penalty kick was awarded deep into stoppage time, the Nigerian placed his spot kick beyond the reach of goalkeeper Bilal Bayazit to bring his total to twenty league goals in twenty-two matches.

An own goal early in the second half put the result beyond doubt for the third place team, who are three points back of second place Fenerbahçe and seven points back of Victor Osimhen and league leaders Galatasaray.
Next up is a home match against Rizespor, where the Nigerian poacher and his club will attempt to maintain their assault on the top clubs and a place in UEFA club competition next season.
