Top stars omitted as Sabri Lamouchi names Tunisia squad for March international break

New Tunisia national football team head coach Sabri Lamouchi has unveiled his squad for the March international break, introducing several changes as the team begins its final preparations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Tunisia are set to play two international friendlies during the break, facing Haiti national football team on March 28, followed by a clash against Canada national football team on March 31. These matches may be the final opportunity for the team to fine-tune its squad before the World Cup.

Notable Absences

The squad list saw the exclusion of several prominent names, including Ferjani Sassi, who plays for Al-Gharafa SC, and midfielder Mohamed Ben Ali Ramadan of Al Ahly SC.

Also missing from the list are experienced players such as Ali Maaloul, currently with CS Sfaxien, and Seifeddine Jaziri, striker of Zamalek SC.
