Tunisia call up Zamalek striker Seifeddine Jaziri to replace Naïm Sliti for Arab Cup

Tunisia national team coach Sami Trabelsi has called up Zamalek forward Seifeddine Jaziri to join the squad ahead of the Arab Cup, following the injury that ruled Naïm Sliti out of the tournament, which kicks off on Monday in Doha.

Tunisia are set to face Syria on Monday in their opening match.

Jaziri joins the national team in excellent form, coming off two strong performances with the Egyptian side Zamalek. He scored the winning goal against ZESCO in the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage, before netting his team’s only goal in the 1–1 draw with Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday in Matchday 2.

Tunisia will compete in Group A of the Arab Cup alongside hosts Qatar, Palestine, and Syria.
