Egyptian club Modern Sport has officially announced the signing of Tunisian midfielder Mootez Zaddem from Espérance Sportive de Tunis.
The player joins on a loan deal until the end of the current season with an option for a permanent transfer included in the agreement.
Zaddem successfully completed his medical examination and finalized the contract in the presence of Modern Sport chairman Dr. Walid Deabes, executive director Haitham Orabi and board member Hesham Hafiz.
The 24-year-old midfielder won the Tunisian Ligue 1 title with Espérance last season. He also previously represented EST's rivals Etoile du Sahel in Tunisia and Al Masry in Egypt.
This is Modern Sport's fourth signing in the ongoing winter transfer window. The club has already secured the services of former ENPPI right back Ali Fawzi, winger Mohamed Helal from Al Ahly Bank and defensive midfielder Ahmed Youssef from ENPPI.
