The selected squad features four goalkeepers, eleven defenders, eleven midfielders, and five forwards, drawn from various FUFA Juniors League teams, schools, and football academies across the country.
Kingston will be assisted by a strong technical team comprising former Uganda Cranes internationals. Steven Bengo, Ibrahim Saddam Juma, and Hamuza Lutalo have all been named as assistant coaches, while Yasin Mugabi will take charge of the goalkeepers.
The backroom staff also includes Joram Katende (Team Manager), Vincent Tumusiime (Team Coordinator), Patrick Ssenfuka (Kit Manager), Innocent Jjeje (Team Doctor), Rashid Kebba (Physiotherapist), and Aloysious Byamukama (Media Officer).
The CECAFA U17 Championship will not only serve as a regional competition but will also act as a qualifying tournament for the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, offering the young Cubs an opportunity to book a ticket to the continental showpiece.
