Ghana U-20 national team need a win at all costs to stand a chance of qualifying for the next round of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Black Satellites held DR Congo to a 1-1 draw in their opening game in Suez, a Group C encounter that left nationals of the West African country asking questions about the team’s qualities.

The 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winners will take on defending African champions Senegal in the second game on Tuesday and head coach of Ghana, Desmond Ofei weighed in on the game.

Speaking ahead of the game tonight at the New Suez Stadium, Ofei expressed his disappointment after failing to convert their chances in their opening game.

"Against DRC, we created numerous chances but could not convert them," he said ahead of the game.

"We need to be more clinical in today's game, and that should ensure that we get the desired result to boost our chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals," he added.

Group C was left open when defending champions Senegal relinquished a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 in their opening game. Kick off for the game is scheduled at 18:00 GMT.
