Video: Tissoudali scores as Khorfakkan edge Bani Yas to secure UAE Pro League win

Khorfakkan claimed a 2-1 victory over Bani Yas on Sunday at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium, in Round 21 of the UAE Pro League.

Moroccan forward Tarik Tissoudali opened the scoring for Khorfakkan with a sharp finish from a tight angle, beating the Bani Yas goalkeeper with a well-taken strike in the 55th minute.

Brazilian winger Welliton Soares added the second goal in the 60th minute, giving the home side a relatively comfortable cushion.

Bani Yas responded shortly after, with Al Hassan Koroma pulling one back in the 65th minute, but it was not enough to deny Khorfakkan the win.

Following this result, Khorfakkan sit 9th with 23 points, while Bani Yas remain in 10th place on 21 points.
