The impact of African players in the UAE Pro League was once again on display as Moroccan forward Tarik Tissoudali found the net in Khor Fakkan’s 2-2 draw against Sharjah on Matchday 3.
Tissoudali opened the scoring in the 39th minute with a penalty, before Aylton Boa Morte doubled Khor Fakkan’s lead in the 52nd minute.
However, the game turned in Sharjah’s favor shortly after. Marcus Meloni converted a penalty in the 59th minute to bring the hosts back into the contest.
The drama peaked deep into stoppage time, as Rey Manaj struck in the 99th minute from another penalty to rescue a point for Sharjah and deny Khor Fakkan a victory.
