Ogundu, whose move was announced on Monday, joins the midtable Bundesliga side from Turkish Süper Lig side Alanyaspor on a permanent transfer that keeps him with the club until 2031.
The Bundesliga side acquired the services of the 19-year-old for a reported fee of €4.5 million.
The striker only joined Alanyaspor from Şanlıurfaspor last summer. During his short stint in Turkey, the teenager recorded two goals and one assist in seventeen appearances across all competitions.
