The Uganda Cranes will depart for Marrakech, Morocco on Monday evening aboard Qatar Airways as they gear up for two high-profile international friendlies. The team is scheduled to face African heavyweights Cameroon on Friday, 6th June, followed by a clash against The Gambia on Monday, 9th June 2025.
Of the 28 players summoned by Head Coach Paul Put, 20 will travel from Uganda with forward Muhammad Shaban replacing John Paul Dembe, who withdrew from the squad due to unforeseen circumstances.
An additional eight foreign-based players will link up with the team directly in Marrakech. These include Jordan Obita, Toby Sibbick, Elio Capradossi, Elvis Bwomono, Allan Oyirwoth, Bobosi Byaruhanga, Isaac Muleme, and Steven Mukwala.
