Uganda Cup: Quarterfinal fixtures confirmed as heavyweights clash
The FUFA Competitions Department has officially confirmed the quarterfinal draw and fixtures for the 2026 Stanbic Uganda Cup, setting the stage for thrilling knockout action.

The draw was conducted on Thursday morning, 26th March 2026, at the Plascon Headquarters, bringing clarity to the last eight matchups of Uganda’s premier domestic cup competition.
A total of eight teams secured their spots in the quarterfinals, with seven sides from the Uganda Premier League joined by one regional representative. Surprise package Happy Boys Kagaba, hailing from the Buganda Regional League in Kassanda, continue their fairytale run alongside top-flight giants.
Confirmed Uganda Cup Quarterfinal Fixtures
- URA FC vs KCCA FC – Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo
- Happy Boys Kagaba vs SC Villa – Kassanda Grounds
- Kitara FC vs Express FC – Royals Park, Butema
- NEC FC vs Vipers SC – MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo
The quarterfinal ties will be played on a single-leg basis, with matches scheduled between 1st and 6th April 2026.
Extra time shall apply incase teams have similar scores after regular time and penalties will separate teams if both teams remain level after the additional 30 minutes.
With traditional powerhouses drawn against each, the race for Stanbic Uganda Cup glory now enters a decisive and highly anticipated stage.
