Uganda Premier League announces three thrilling double headers at Nakivubo Stadium

The Uganda Premier League secretariat has officially confirmed three exciting double headers to be hosted at the newly refurbished Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.

The confirmed double headers will take place on match days 8, 12 and 13, featuring top-tier clashes under the lights:

Match Day 8 (Wed, 26 Nov 2025)

• URA FC vs Buhimba United Saints FC – 5:00 PM
• Express FC vs Vipers SC – 8:00 PM

Match Day 12 (Sat, 17 Jan 2026)

• URA FC vs Entebbe UPPC FC – 5:00 PM
• Express FC vs SC Villa – 8:00 PM

Match Day 13 (Fri, 23 Jan 2026)

• Express FC vs Buhimba United Saints FC – 5:00 PM
• URA FC vs Vipers SC – 8:00 PM

Meanwhile, the UPL has withdrawn the previously scheduled double headers on match days 9 and 15.

The affected fixtures in Uganda Premier League have been rescheduled as follows:

Match Day 9

• Express FC vs Calvary FC – Wed, 03 Dec 2025
• URA FC vs Kitara FC – Thurs, 04 Dec 2025

Match Day 15

• NEC FC vs Express FC – Thurs, 12 Feb 2026
• URA FC vs Police FC – Fri, 13 Feb 2026

According to the UPL secretariat, the fixture adjustments were made to reduce fixture congestion, streamline club travel logistics and enhance broadcast scheduling.

The Nakivubo double headers are expected to draw massive fan attendance as they feature some of the league’s most anticipated encounters.
