Nigerian forward Umar Sadiq got an impressive start with his new club Valencia, helping the team secure a 2-0 victory over Burgos in the Round of 16 of the Copa del Rey.
Sadiq scored Valencia’s second goal in the 50th minute, taking advantage of a pass to beat the goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation. He was later substituted in the 64th minute after making a decisive impact. Valencia’s first goal came in the 10th minute from Rubén Iranzo, giving the team an early lead.

With this win, Valencia advance to the quarter-finals, where they will face Athletic Bilbao.
Sadiq joined Valencia during the current winter transfer window from Real Sociedad and had made just one prior appearance for the club before the Copa del Rey match, coming on in the 65th minute against Elche.
