Moses Aliro has been named the new team captain. The winger/forward, who joined the Tax Collectors from Wakiso Giants in 2023, was initially handed a two-year deal, which was later extended for another two years after impressing under coach Alex Isabirye.
Aliro will be deputized by former Soltilo Bright Stars skipper Nelson Senkatuka, while playmaker Nicholas Kabonge takes up the role of second assistant captain.
Meanwhile, URA FC have been busy in the transfer window, strengthening both their squad and technical bench. New signings include Arthur Kiggundu, Ronald Otti, Fred Amaku, and goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima, all recruited from Kitara FC.
Senkatuka also joined from Bright Stars, while goalkeeper Muhammad Ssekeba arrived from Entebbe UPPC FC (formerly Gaddafi FC).
The technical team has been boosted with the addition of experienced coach Edward Golola. On the other hand, several players have parted ways with the club.
Among them are Enock Walusimbi, Rodgers Omedwa, Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Sharif Kimbowa, Bruno Bunyaga, Denis Otim, and Oketch, who all left permanently. Defender Bright Vuni was loaned out to newly promoted Entebbe UPPC FC.
URA FC will officially begin their campaign with a tricky away fixture against BUL FC at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
