Vipers SC’s latest signing, Usama Arafat Kizza, has shared his excitement after officially joining the seven-time Uganda Premier League champions. The midfielder has signed a three-year contract at Kitende.
“I’m really excited to be joining Vipers SC, one of the top clubs in Uganda. To me, signing for Vipers SC means joining a big football family with ambition and a winning mentality,” Usama said.

He added: “It’s an opportunity to challenge myself at the highest level in Uganda, compete for trophies, and represent the club in continental football. It also means growth for me as a player, gaining more exposure, and contributing to the legacy of a team that has achieved a lot.”
“I’m eager to get started, train hard, and make a positive impact for Vipers SC. The support of the fans, the club’s management, and my teammates will be crucial in making this a successful tenure,” he concluded.
Usama joins the Venoms as a free agent after his contract with KCCA FC expired. He is among several new recruits strengthening the Vipers squad ahead of the upcoming season, including Robin Kane Hney, Odili Chukwuma, Mark Yallah, Kevin Dasylva Bady, Taddeo Lwanga, Ashraf Mandela, and Enock Ssebaggala.
Vipers SC are currently preparing for their CAF Champions League preliminary round first-leg match against Namibian side African Stars on Friday, 19th September, in Cape Town.
