Algerian club USM Alger has officially announced the departure of its Tunisian head coach, Nabil Maâloul, along with his technical staff.
In an official statement, the club explained that an agreement had been reached with Maâloul to part ways following the team’s penultimate match against USM Khenchela in the Algerian League. However, the coach displayed professionalism by leading the team in their most recent match in the Algerian Cup against NC Magra despite the agreement.
Under Maâloul’s leadership in the recent game, USM Alger secured qualification to the Round of 16 of the Algerian Cup, winning their final match under his management in the Round of 32 against NC Magra with a 1-0 victory.
