USM Alger have officially announced the details of injuries sustained by several players, along with their expected recovery periods.

Following medical examinations and assessments conducted by the club's medical team, the absence duration for each player has been confirmed.

Midfielder Mehdi Merghem is set to be sidelined for four weeks due to a knee injury he picked up during the Algerian Cup semifinal.

Right-back Haithem Loucif will be out of action for two weeks after suffering an adductor muscle injury. The same type of injury has also affected Kévin Mondeko, the Congolese central defender, who is expected to be unavailable for the same period.

USM Alger's most recent game was a 1-0 home defeat to JS Kabylie in Matchday 23 of the Algerian Ligue 1 Professionnelle.

The club currently sits in fifth place on the league table with 33 points, trailing leaders MC Alger by 11 points.
