Valencia table loan bid for Nigerian striker UmarSadiq

Spanish La Liga side Valencia has reportedly submitted an offer to Real Sociedad to acquire Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq on a second loan move to Mestalla.

Sadiq spent the second half of last season on a successful loan spell with Valencia helping Los Ches avoid relegation and scoring five goals in 16 league appearances.

Despite the Nigeria international’s contributions in the relegation battle, Carlos Corberán’s side opted not to sign him on a permanent transfer, reportedly due to Real Sociedad’s high asking price.

However, recent reports confirm Valencia’s strong interest in bringing the 27-year-old back to the club. According to Spanish news outlets, the new offer is for a season-long loan, and Valencia is willing to cover his entire salary for the duration.

Sadiq’s future has been the subject of much speculation this transfer window, with several clubs reportedly interested in the Super Eagles striker. Aside from Valencia, clubs such as Getafe, Girona, and Turkishside Samsunspor have also been linked with a move for the player.
