Nigerian forward Victor Mbaoma is reportedly set to make a return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The 28-year-old striker is now a free agent after the expiration of his contract with Rwandan champions, APR FC, where he spent last season. Mbaoma left APR after the expiration of his contract.
Mbaoma is a familiar face to NPFL, having previously starred for nine-time champions Enyimba International. The forward made 140 appearances and scored 51 goals during his time in the NPFL.
He finished as a joint-top scorer in the 2023/2024 Rwandan league season with 15 goals and scored twice in four CAF Champions League appearances for the club, highlighting his continued goal-scoring ability.
Reigning NPFL champions Remo Stars are reportedly to be actively weighing up a move for the experienced forward. Mbaoma started his playing career with the Sky Blue Stars.
