Former Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses has parted ways with English Championship side Luton Town following their demotion to League One.

The 34-year-old joined The Hatters from Russian side Spartak Moscow as a free agent at the start of the season as Luton had just been relegated from the English Premier League.

Moses' spell with Luton has not been rosy after his club suffered two consecutive relegations and will now play in the EFL League One next campaign.

As a result of their demotion, Luton's official website reported that there'll be no renewal for Victor Moses, Tim Krul and several first team players, ending the ex-Chelsea and Crystal Palace player's one-year stay at Kenilworth Road.

“First team squad players also departing include goalkeepers Tim Krul and Jameson Horlick and winger Victor Moses upon natural expiry of their contracts. Josh Bowler will return to his parent club, Nottingham Forest, after his short loan spell.

“Kal Naismith’s half-season loan comes to an end and also returns to his parent club, temporarily, to see out the remainder of his contract in Bristol.

“We would like to thank Kal, Tim, Victor, Jameson and Josh immensely for their contribution to the Club this season and wish them well for their future careers,” the club's official website read.

Victor Moses has had a successful career over the years, winning the FA Cup, English Premier League and the UEFA Europa League with Chelsea.

He was also a part of the Super Eagles team that won the AFCON 2013 tournament in South Africa under the guidance of the late Stephen Keshi.
