Egyptian star Mohamed Salah experienced a rollercoaster night as Liverpool FC taking on Galatasaray now in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

Salah had an early chance to put the Reds ahead just before halftime after Dominik Szoboszlai won a penalty in stoppage time. The Egyptian stepped up confidently but attempted a middle-goal finish, only to see his effort denied by the Galatasaray goalkeeper, missing a golden opportunity to extend his tally in the competition.

Despite the miss, Liverpool went into the break leading 1-0. The second half, however, told a completely different story.

Liverpool came out firing and added three more goals, dominating the Turkish side to take a commanding 4-1 lead on the game still running so far. Salah redeemed himself in style, scoring Liverpool’s fourth goal and reaching a historic milestone — his 50th goal in the UEFA Champions League.

The goal highlighted Salah’s resilience and importance to the team. From a missed penalty to a landmark goal, the Egyptian forward once again proved why he remains one of Europe’s elite players.
