The draw for the newly rescheduled WAFU Zone B U-20 Boys Cup was released on Friday on WAFU/UFOA Zone B social media channels.
The tournament, which will be hosted at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Ghana, assembles seven countries for the thirteen day exercise between July 10 and 23.
The draw sets the stage for a thrilling contest with rivals Ghana and Nigeria as well as Benin battling it out for two semifinal places.
Group B features a strong Francophone line-up which includes Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Niger and Togo who will battle it out for the remaining semifinal spots.
The third edition of the tournament faced a postponement after its original date of June 15 to 30 was rescheduled to July 10 to 23, 2025. All matches are expected to be hosted at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram, the premier football development facility Ghana.
The competition will exclusively feature member countries of the WAFU Zone B after member nations from WAFU Zone A failed to meet organizational deadlines and expectations for participation.
