The three-time African champions will face Lesotho and Benin in their last two games in the qualifiers.
Speaking to the Super Eagles media, the defender stressed the squad’s persistent optimism and fighting spirit.
“We’re optimistic and we’re always going to fight till the end. We believe and we’re never going to stop believing. Two important games, Friday, the first one, and after that we get back to Nigeria. Our focus now is on Lesotho.”
For Nigeria to secure a spot at the global football fiesta, a clear strategy emerges: they must achieve maximum points from both of their remaining encounters. Simultaneously, they will be closely monitoring the results of Benin and South Africa, hoping for either team to drop points in their respective fixtures.
