English Premier League side West Ham United are keenly tracking Club Brugge and Nigeria defensive midfielder Raphael Onyedika as the summer transfer window approaches.

Onyedika could leave Club Brugge this summer after another stellar season for Nicky Hayen’s side.

Sources indicate that Onyedika, who earned plaudits for his performances in the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League season, is open to a move away from the Belgian champions following another outstanding season.

The 24-year-old was instrumental in Blauw-Zwart's recent Belgian Cup triumph in April, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure in crucial matches. Club Brugge are also on track to secure their second consecutive Belgian Pro League title, a testament to Onyedika's consistent contributions throughout the season.

According to Belgian football outlet Voetbalkrant, West Ham United have registered a strong interest in the Super Eagles midfielder. However, the Hammers are anticipated to face strong opposition from Italian giants AC Milan, who are also reportedly admirers of Onyedika's qualities.

With Milan's potential Champions League involvement for next season the young midfielder would have a lot to think about in the transfer market.

Onyedika joined Club Brugge in the summer of 2022 from Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland. During his time in Denmark, he established himself as a highly-rated prospect, making over 50 appearances for the side.

His move to Belgium has further accelerated his development, solidifying his reputation as a dynamic and effective defensive midfielder.
