Willy Essomba Onana signs with CS Sfaxien

As previously reported by Pan-Africa Football's Ablam Gnamesso a few hours ago, Cameroonian attacker Willy Essomba Onana has just signed a two-year contract with Tunisian club CS Sfaxien from Libyan club Al-Hilal Benghazi. The player is expected to join the team next month in preparation for the new season.

According to information gatherd by Pan-Africa Football, the contract between the parties amounted to a favorable deal for the management of CS Sfaxien. Onana is a versatile attacker who is also capable of playing as a striker.


He rose to prominence with Cameroonian club Union Douala before joining another Cameroonian club, Canon Yaoundé, on July 1, 2019, and then Rwandan club Rayon Sports FC in November 2021.


During the 2023-2024 season, he played for Tanzanian club Simba SC before joining Libyan club Al-Hilal Benghazi last season. Essomba Onana scored three goals in eight games for Hilal during the Libyan Premier League's second phase.
