Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has predicted more goals for Zimbabwe international Marshall Munetsi after he grabbed a goal in their final Premier League fixture against Brentford at Molineux on Sunday.

In their final outing for the season which ended in a 1-1 stalemate, Wolves fell behind to a first-half Bryan Mbeumo strike, which gave the Bees the lead heading into the break.

However, with 15 minutes remaining, Munetsi scored his second goal for the club with a spectacular effort, helping Wolves secure one final point to round off their 2024/25 season tally.

Discussing Munetsi’s equaliser, Pereira said: “It was a fantastic goal from a player that deserves more because of the fight he gives and he works a lot. He will score more goals next season and in the future, I’m sure.”

Since moving to Wolves, Munetsi managed 14 Premier League appearances, scored two goals and provided one assist. He joined Wolves in February, signing a three-and-a-half-year contract, and made his debut on February 9 in a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup.

On March 8, he scored his first goal for Wolves in a 1-1 league draw against Everton.
