Wolverhampton Wanderers ' Zimbabwean midfielder Marshall Munetsi has spoken about experiencing his debut English Premier League season, describing the league as tougher than France's Ligue 1.
He joined the English Premier League side from France's Reims in the January transfer window. The Warriors player described competition in the Premier League as tough. Speaking to the Express & Star, the midfielder explained that his debut season was about adapting.
"I think it is hard because every game is not easy, even if you are going to play Southampton, Crystal Palace, Manchester United.
"Each and every weekend, there is always a tough opponent, so you can never really say we are going to relax today," said Munetsi.
He's proven to be an inspired buy. Despite scoring just two goals in 14 appearances, the former Orlando Pirates midfielder has built a good reputation for his work ethic and versatility, ticking all boxes, helping in attack and defence.
